Dr Sophia was born and raised in New York City. However, she didn’t consider herself to be a true New Yorker until after she started working as an associate dentist in various offices across the different boroughs. Before she started college, she spent most of her life on Staten Island and attended P.S.1, I.S.34, and Staten Island Technical High School. She started commuting to and from Manhattan for her undergraduate studies in the Macaulay Honors College Program at Baruch College. She started to consider dentistry as a career path after she shadowed her family dentist and saw how much of a positive difference she was making in patients’ lives. After switching majors and graduating with a biology degree from Baruch College, Dr. Sophia continued her education at the New York University College of Dentistry and graduated with a DDS degree in 2017. She then went on to complete a one year residency in general dentistry at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx. After eventually getting slightly overwhelmed by the mayhem of the city, Dr Sophia moved to Edison, NJ only a little over a year ago. She definitely is enjoying life out here so far. Dr Sophia loves to do all aspects of general dentistry, but she especially loves endodontics and oral surgery. It gives her a great sense of accomplishment when she is able to relieve her patients of their pain. When she is not busy doing dentistry, some of her hobbies include working out, playing basketball, traveling, reading, working on puzzles and/or Lego sets, and playing claw machines and/or carnival games. As her fellow dentist best friend likes to say about her, Sophia will never leave an arcade empty handed because she will always win something

Alex is a Certified Dental Assistant and is also OSHA and CPR certified. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Visual Arts from Rutgers University and then further continued his education by receiving his Dental Assisting Degree. Alex is also bilingual in Cantonese Chinese and English. Whether he is assisting chairside, taking dental radiographs, or sterilizing dental instruments, he always has a big smile on his face and is always ready to take on the next task of the day. Between Alex's calm, gentle, and understanding nature and pleasant conversations, he always manages to relax the most fearful patients. Outside of the office Alex likes to spend time with his family and dog and play video games.

Ashley is a Certified Dental Assistant and is also OSHA and CPR certified. Prior to entering the dental field Ashley spent numerous years in the retail industry. Through this work she was able to understand the importance of customer care, and is therefore always striving to create a comfortable and relaxed environment for her patients. Ashley is always trying to improve her individual skills through continuing education and her upbeat attitude is contagious with the staff and patients of the practice. When Ashley is not hard at work at the back of the office you can find her at the front desk checking in/out patients and scheduling follow up appointments. Outside of the office Ashley enjoys exploring new places to eat, snowboarding in the winter, the beach during the summer, nature and hiking.

Brooke is the Head Certified Dental Assistant at Hillsborough Comprehensive Dental Care and has been with the office since it first opened. She also can be found at the front desk and is always happy to help patients with scheduling appointments and answering any of their dental insurance questions. Brooke has a passion for providing oral health education to all of her patients and is attentive to their needs making even the most apprehensive patients feel comfortable. Her attention to detail and enthusiasm to maintain high and current standards in the dental field are truly appreciated by her patients and dental team. She is also OSHA and CPR certified. Outside of the office Brooke loves to spend time with her family and dog, be adventurous and travel with friends and loved ones!

Justyna is a Registered Dental Hygienist who received her degree from UMDNJ (Rutgers University). She also holds a Bachelors in Accounting from Kean University and is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. In addition, she is certified in CPR, as well as administering local anesthesia and monitoring Nitrous Oxide Delivery. Justyna is passionate about taking continuing education courses to always stay current with the Dental field. Justyna was born in Poland and moved to the U.S as a young adult. She loves helping educate patients to effectively care for their beautiful smiles and always tries to ensure they are comfortable during their preventative visits. Outside of the office Justyna enjoys cooking healthy meals for her friends and family, hiking, skiing, travelling, running Spartan races and reading biographies.
